Xpydas
are basically electronic devices which accept
a range of alarm inputs and types, and use
computer networks to communicate those alarms
to wherever the alarms need to go.
Xpydas communicate
with - and are themselves monitored by -
monitoring software called the Xpyda
Service, which is designed to run on
the network server and manage the complete
Xpyda network.
If a Xpyda is unable
to communicate with the network, the Xpyda
Service issues alerts accordingly in the
same way as alerts are issued if any item
a Xpyda is protecting is interfered with.
In addition to the
Xpyda Service core application, a number
of other software components are available
in order to run your Xpyda Network efficiently.
